Meet our Newest Staff Leadership
Richcroft recently welcomed three new administrative staff members to our team!
Michael Yates has joined us as Assistant Director of our Residential Program. For more than a decade, Michael has overseen residential programs, most recently as Area Director at Good Neighbor in Fairfax, Virginia, and prior to that as Program Manager/Coordinator for the Arc Baltimore’s Residential Program. Currently pursing his Master’s Degree in Human Services Administration at Coppin State University, Michael was initially introduced to Richcroft through a master’s level internship program this past fall. As Assistant Residential Director, he hopes to be an additional source of support to DSP staff and Program Managers. Mike believes in flexibility and communication as a means to increase quality, and in turn, staff retention.
Belinda Thompson has recently been promoted to Case Manager in our Personal Supports Program. Belinda has worked for Richcroft for the past 11 years as a DSP, supporting individuals who live with their families in the community. Belinda says that “Working in this field is more than just a job – it allows me to be part of something I take tremendous pride in. Understanding that every family has a unique journey has helped me become a better advocate personally and professionally. I’ve had such a good experience with supervisors at Richcroft, I knew this is where I wanted to build a career.” Belinda is looking forward to helping build the Personal Supports Program and be a source of support for staff. She says, “For 11 years I always felt appreciated. I look forward to helping others feel the same.”
Anastasia Pyzik has recently joined Richcroft as a Case Manager in our Personal Supports Program. Anastasia is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) and has worked in various capacities (hospitals, nursing homes, rehab centers) and with various populations (people with dementia, adults with mental illness, people with I/DD, etc.) Anastasia is looking forward to bringing new ideas and perspectives to working with the individuals we support here at Richcroft. She became a Recreational Therapist to combine her love of sports and arts and crafts with her love of helping people with disabilities.
Welcome aboard Michael, Belinda and Anastasia! We are excited to have you as part of the team!
